Supervision

Training and Experience
I trained as a supervisor with Pete Sanders from 1994-1995. I have approximately 8,600 hours experience as a supervisor.

Whom I supervise
Most of my supervisees are counsellors  and psychotherapists. However I am qualified to provide reflective supervision to  a range of professionals and welcome anyone who works with people and wants to reflect upon their practice.
Supervisory Approach
I understand supervision to be concerned with the well-being of both client and therapist and aim to co-create a relationship in which you feel able to speak openly about all aspects of your work without fear of harshness or hurry. I am particularly interested attending to the quality of the therapeutic relationship.

Ethics
I work within The British Association for Counselling and    Psychotherapy’s Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Supervision (www.bacp.co.uk) and access regular consultative support for my supervision practice.
